THAT'S A LOT
OF ROLLS.
Dylan Larkin is sitting out. The dollars are piling up. So we did what anyone would do: measured them in toilet paper.

KEEPS GROWING.
That's a whole lot of bathroom breaks. Watch the rolls pour in and bundle up by the ten as the pile grows.
A visual representation, not a literal inventory. No actual toilet paper was harmed in the making of this website.
THE FINE PRINT
LET'S TALK
NUMBERS.
A little bit of hockey math. A completely unnecessary amount of toilet paper.
THE SALARY
We use Larkin's reported $8 million base salary for 2026–27, divided by 194 regular-season days. That's about $41,237 a day, accruing continuously for this estimate.
THE CLOCK
The Red Wings announced an unpaid suspension on October 29, 2026. The exact effective time wasn't specified, so we use midnight Detroit time at the start of that day as a simple proxy. The clock doesn't automatically detect a trade or a change in status; it must be updated manually.
THE ROLLS & SHEETS
Charmin Ultra Soft costs about $1.15–$2.00 per roll depending on pack size. We use $1.58, the rounded midpoint, and divide the estimated lost salary by that price. For the numbered sheets in the background, we assume 224 sheets per roll, as in a Mega roll; other sizes vary. Sheet numbers are illustrative, not a separate live tally.
Status last reviewed October 30, 2026. This is a fan-made estimate, not a payroll statement. The calculation may differ from actual forfeited pay.
